The ultra-modern laboratory facilities within each of the 8 Syntema branches are capable of producing batch sizes of special products from as little as 1 litre to a maximum of 1000 litres if required. If larger batch sizes are needed, Syntema can call on the support of their parent company Becker-Acroma, who boast one of the largest laboratory facilities within the industry today.

Quality Assurance
Within the laboratories, state of the art spectrophotometers quickly measure the amount of pigment needed to formulate special colour requirements.

Gloss meters measure the sheen level, while industrial ovens are capable of stoving metal and powder finishes and also provide a quick curing source for many other products.

Each Syntema branch is equipped with a mini spray booth for spraying out batch cards and a larger spray booth for imitating customers work or for larger panel spraying.

Various mixers and electronic weighing scales allow accurate reproduction every time.

A retain sample sprayed onto controlled white cards is kept after every batch has passed quality control. For every colour or stain which leaves the Syntema laboratories, a retain sample can be referred to, should the same colour need re-producing or for reference at a later stage.
